We've Done A Lot's, Let's Check Some Our Recent Research
Our Wildlife GPS collars include an accelerometer that allows customers to record raw accelerometer data in three axes. Customers can schedule when the accelerometer samples, determine the sampling rate, and select from a range of sensitivity based on their needs.
Aside from recording raw data, our wildlife GPS collars’ accelerometer includes more functionality. The energy reports can be created and uploaded by the user remotely. The accelerometer will also sense periods of inactivity, thereby automatically changing the GPS schedule when the animal is sleeping in areas with no GPS signal. Besides this, the accelerometer can be used to sense behavior and alter the GPS schedule according to such behaviors to actively track the animal during specific behaviors.
