Flexible GPS Timeout Settings at Your Disposal

The GPS Schedule that you can produce might be as simple as a repeating interval from one GPS timeout setting or you can formulate a quite varied schedule. If you utilize the latter, you are not limited to utilizing the identical GPS timeout with every GPS position attempt.

The benefit can be in the shape of additional information and additional battery life. If you know that at some point during the day the animal is in dense cover but during other times of the day the animal is in a higher propensity to be in open, then you can configure different GPS timeouts accordingly.

GPS timeout is the maximum amount of time that you are allowing the GPS to remain on every time it comes on. Most product lines offer you settings of 60, 90 or 120 seconds but one of our products also offers a setting of 30 seconds.

GPS timeout is a very important setting that should not be confused with GPS Additional Time.
