We've Done A Lot's, Let's Check Some Our Recent Research

Our Wildlife GPS collars include an accelerometer that allows users to acquire raw accelerometer data in three axes. Customers can schedule at which times the accelerometer samples; configure the sampling rate; and select from a range of sensitivity specific for their needs.

Along with recording raw data, the accelerometer on our wildlife GPS devices provides added functionality. The energy reports can be created and downloaded remotely by the user. The accelerometer can also recognize periods of no movement, thereby adjusting the GPS schedule automatically when the animal is resting in no GPS signal areas. Further to this, the accelerometer can be used to detect behavior and adjust the GPS schedule according to those behaviors to actively track the animal during specific behaviors.
