Remote Status Monitoring

The app keeps you in the loop

Knowing when a download begins can be helpful. The base station info app allows you to have the base station somewhere remote to you and be alerted, in two different ways, to a long range download.  First, the app will play a tune to indicate a long-range download has begun.  If you are using the built in magnetic mount and have the base station on top of a vehicle, you can stop driving when the app inside the vehicle indicates that download.  The screen also changes color to let you know that the long-range download has begun.

The app facilitates getting the base station higher up over the landscape than you and still knowing what is happening.  Gaining elevation over the landscape will increase the download range.   The app lets you know which GPS devices have downloaded data to the base station and how much of the data has been downloaded.  You can use this information to know whether or not you have everything you need from the field that day.

The app provides much more information including the GPS devices’ voltages and the base station voltage.  It is available at no cost for both Android and iOS.
